Ultrasound Therapy: high-frequency sound waves with mechanical and thermal effects

Ultrasound therapy exposes the symptomatic area to acoustic micro-vibrations with a frequency not perceivable by the human ear, generating an anti-inflammatory mechanical and thermal process and alleviating pain.
The vibrations also have a vasodilatory effect, increasing blood flow in the treated area and making fibrous tissues more elastic and stretchable.
It is a non-invasive technique that does not require the use of drugs.

Ultrasound therapy is particularly indicated in the treatment of post-traumatic edema, organized hematomas, scars, muscle contractures, neuralgia, osteoarthritis, tendinopathies, and bursitis.
